Walking
If you are starting from the Lewes town center, head southeast on 2nd Street towards Savannah Road. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Cape Henlopen Drive. At the intersection, turn right onto Cape Henlopen Drive. Follow this road for another mile until you reach the entrance to the Cape Henlopen State Park. Continue walking through the park, following the signs toward the beach area. Once you arrive at the beach, you will find yourself at Savannah Beach.

Biking
Starting from the Lewes town center, bike along 2nd Street and head towards Savannah Road. Turn right onto Savannah Road and continue straight for approximately 1 mile. You will reach Cape Henlopen Drive; turn right here. Continue on Cape Henlopen Drive for about another mile until you see the entrance to the Cape Henlopen State Park. Enter the park and bike along the designated paths leading to the beach area. You will eventually arrive at Savannah Beach.

To get to Savannah Beach using public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop in Lewes. Board the DART bus that heads towards Rehoboth Beach. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Cape Henlopen State Park stop. From there, follow the marked trails in the park towards the beach area.
