Public Transport
From Wilmington's transit center, take DART First State bus route 25 towards New Castle. Disembark at the stop nearest to Lighthouse Rd, then walk approximately 15 minutes (0.7 miles) to the park entrance on Lighthouse Rd. Check the DART First State website for current schedules and fare information. A single ride fare is typically around $2.
Driving
From downtown Wilmington, head northeast on N Market St, continuing onto DE-52 N/N Market St. Merge onto I-95 N and take exit 6 for I-495 N towards the Port of Wilmington. Merge onto I-495 N and take exit 3 for DE-9 N toward New Castle. Continue on DE-9 N until Lighthouse Rd, then turn left. Fox Point State Park will be on your left. Parking is available on-site. Entrance fees are in effect from March 1 to November 30, with daily fees of $4 for Delaware residents and $8 for out-of-state vehicles. Credit cards are accepted, and cash is accepted if the fee booth is open.
