If you are in downtown Milford, start at the Milford Public Library located at 101 East Walnut Street. Head south on Walnut Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left (east) onto Route 1 and walk towards the southern edge of the town. Continue along the sidewalk until you reach the junction with Lighthouse Road. Turn right onto Lighthouse Road. Follow Lighthouse Road for about 2.5 miles. The DuPont Nature Center will be on your right at 2992 Lighthouse Rd, Milford, DE.

From downtown Milford, you can rent a bike at one of the local rental shops. Begin your ride from the Milford Public Library and cycle south on Walnut Street.
