Walking
Start at the Milford Public Library located at 101 East Marshall Street. Head east on E Marshall St toward N Walnut St. Continue straight onto DE-1 S, passing through downtown Milford. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto S Rehoboth Blvd/US-113 S. Walk for about 0.8 miles until you reach the intersection with DE-1 S. Continue walking straight onto DE-1 S. Follow this road for approximately 10 miles. Once you reach the junction with Cape Henlopen Dr, turn right. After about 2 miles, you will arrive at Fort Miles Historic Area located at 15099 Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, DE 19958.

Begin your journey at the Milford Riverwalk, which is located near the downtown area. Cycle south along the river until you reach the intersection with E Masten Circle. Turn right and follow the signs to DE-1 S. Once on DE-1 S, head south for about 10 miles. When you reach the exit for Cape Henlopen Dr, take the exit and turn right. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you arrive at Fort Miles Historic Area at 15099 Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, DE 19958.

From Milford, walk to the nearest DART First State bus stop, located on N Walnut St. Take the DART bus route 305 towards Rehoboth Beach. Stay on the bus for around 30 minutes. Get off at the Cape Henlopen State Park stop. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the Fort Miles Historic Area. Follow the signs through the park to your destination at 15099 Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, DE 19958.
