Turn right onto East Cleveland Avenue and walk until you reach the intersection with South College Avenue. Cross South College Avenue and continue straight on East Cleveland Avenue. After a short walk, you will reach the bus stop for DART First State Bus Route 1.

    Take the DART First State Bus Route 1 from the bus stop on East Cleveland Avenue. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. The bus will take you to the New Castle area. Get off at the stop labeled 'Delaware Street and 2nd Street.' From there, walk east on Delaware Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach 211 Delaware St, New Castle, DE 19720, the location of First State National Historical Park.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Newark.
