Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Newark, head southwest on Main Street toward South College Avenue. Continue on Main Street for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with South College Avenue. Turn left onto South College Avenue and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the bus stop for DART First State bus number 1.

  • Bus

    Take the DART First State bus number 1 towards Wilmington. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes, and get off at the Thompson Station Road stop. Once you exit the bus, walk south on Thompson Station Road for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance of White Clay Creek State Park, located at 750 Thompson Station Rd, Newark, DE 19711.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Newark. From the city center, head southwest on Main Street and then turn left onto South College Avenue.
