Start from the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk. Head west on Rehoboth Avenue until you reach the intersection with Coastal Highway (Route 1). Cross Coastal Highway at the pedestrian crossing light. Once across, continue walking straight on Rehoboth Avenue until it becomes the Junction and Breakwater Trail, which is a paved path that leads towards Lewes. Follow this trail for approximately 4 miles until you reach the entrance of Cape Henlopen State Park. The park entrance is located at 15099 Cape Henlopen Dr, Lewes, DE 19958. Look for signs directing you to the park as you approach.

If you have access to a bike, start at the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk. Head west on Rehoboth Avenue until you reach the intersection with Coastal Highway (Route 1). Cross Coastal Highway at the pedestrian crossing light. Continue on Rehoboth Avenue, which will turn into the Junction and Breakwater Trail. Follow this trail for about 4 miles.
