    Start from the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. Head north on the boardwalk until you reach the end at 1st Street. Turn left onto 1st Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross Route 1 carefully, heading towards the pedestrian crosswalk. Once across, continue straight to reach the bus stop for the DART Transit bus. Catch the DART Route 204 bus heading north toward Lewes. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Cape Henlopen State Park. From there, follow the signs towards Fort Miles Historic Area, which is about a 10-minute walk through the park.

    If you have a bicycle, start from the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. Head north on the boardwalk until you reach 1st Street. Turn left onto 1st Street and continue to Route 1.
