Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Rehoboth Beach, head north on Rehoboth Avenue towards the intersection with Route 1 (Coastal Highway). At the intersection, turn left to go north on Route 1. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with Route 9. Continue straight, following signs for Lewes. After about another mile, you will see the signs for Pilottown Road. Turn right onto Pilottown Road, and continue for about 0.5 miles. The Lightship Overfalls LV-118 will be on your left at 219 Pilottown Rd, Lewes, DE 19958.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in Rehoboth Beach. Start at the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk and head north to Rehoboth Avenue. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue north. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Route 9. Follow Route 9 until you reach Pilottown Road, then turn left. The Lightship Overfalls LV-118 will be on your left in about 0.5 miles at 219 Pilottown Rd, Lewes, DE 19958.

• Public Transportation

  While there are limited public transportation options directly to the Lightship Overfalls, you can take the DART bus service from Rehoboth Beach to Lewes. Catch the bus at the DART stop on Rehoboth Avenue. Ride the bus towards Lewes and get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Route 1 and Route 9. From there, it is about a 1-mile walk to Pilottown Road. Head west on Route 9, then turn left on Pilottown Road. The Lightship Overfalls LV-118 will be on your left at 219 Pilottown Rd, Lewes, DE 19958.
