Car
If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from any location in The Brandywine Valley. Use your GPS or map application and enter the address: Lighthouse Rd, Wilmington, DE 19809. From there, take I-95 North towards Wilmington. Take exit 7 for DE-202 N towards Concord Pike. Continue on DE-202 N and follow the signs for I-95 N. Merge onto I-95 N and take exit 7A for I-495 S toward South Wilmington. Keep right to stay on I-495 S and take exit 1 for DE-9 S toward New Castle. Follow DE-9 S and turn left onto Lighthouse Rd. The entrance to Fox Point State Park will be on your right. There is no entrance fee for the park.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a DART First State bus from your nearest stop in The Brandywine Valley. Route 10 travels towards Wilmington. You can check the DART website for the most current schedule. Once you reach the Wilmington Transit Center, transfer to the Route 25 bus towards New Castle. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of DE-9 and Lighthouse Rd. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Fox Point State Park. Walk south on Lighthouse Rd until you reach the park entrance. Ensure to check the bus schedules for any fare costs and times.
