    From the main entrance of White Clay Creek State Park, head south on Route 896. Continue for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Kells Avenue. Turn right onto Kells Avenue, and you will find Kells Park at 201 Kells Ave, Newark, DE 19711 on your left. There is free parking available at the park.

  • Public Transportation

    First, take a DART First State bus (Route 1) towards Christiana Mall from the nearest bus stop in or around White Clay Creek State Park. Ride for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of Route 896 and Kells Avenue. From there, it is a short walk (about 0.2 miles) down Kells Avenue to reach Kells Park at 201 Kells Ave, Newark, DE 19711. Please check the DART First State website for current schedules and fares.

  • Bicycle

    If you are biking, exit White Clay Creek State Park onto Route 896 and head south for about 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Kells Avenue. Kells Park will be on your left at 201 Kells Ave, Newark, DE 19711. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.
