Walking
If you are starting from the Wilmington Riverwalk, head south towards the intersection with South Market Street. Turn left onto South Market Street and continue until you reach the intersection with East 4th Street. Turn right onto East 4th Street and walk until you reach the intersection with North Walnut Street. Turn left onto North Walnut Street and continue walking until you reach the Delaware River. At the river, you will find the New Castle Ferry terminal. Take the ferry across the river to New Castle, which is a direct route to First State National Historical Park.
