    Depart from Fåborg harbor for a shorter crossing to Søby on Ærø, approximately 50 minutes. From Søby, drive or take a local bus to Ærøskøbing, about 20 kilometers and 30 minutes. This route is particularly useful if approaching from the eastern side of Funen. Ferry tickets approximately 110–150 DKK per person.
