Take the M1 metro line (green line toward Vestamager) directly to DR Byen station. Trains depart every 5 minutes throughout the day and night. Journey time from central Copenhagen is approximately 10–15 minutes depending on your starting point. The station is located directly adjacent to DR Koncerthuset, requiring only a 3-minute walk to the main entrance.
Bus
Bus lines 33, 35, 77, and 78 all serve the DR Byen stop on Amager Fælledvej. Journey times vary from 15–25 minutes depending on your starting location and traffic conditions. From the bus stop, the concert hall is a 5–10 minute walk. This option is convenient if you are already traveling along these routes.
Car with Parking
DR Koncerthuset has partnered with Q-Park to manage the parking facility adjacent to the metro station. Parking must be prepaid at ticket machines using your vehicle registration number, or through the EasyPark mobile app. Standard rates apply; exact pricing varies by duration. Nine dedicated handicapped spaces and six larger drop-off spaces are located approximately 75 metres west of the main entrance, beneath the metro line.
Walking
If you are staying in nearby neighborhoods such as Islands Brygge (approximately 9 minutes' walk) or other parts of Amager, walking is feasible. The route is straightforward along Amager Fælledvej toward Ørestads Boulevard. Allow 10–20 minutes depending on your exact starting point. The area is well-lit and pedestrian-friendly, particularly in daylight hours.
