Public Transport
From Køge Station, take a regional train towards Roskilde Station. Upon arrival, transfer to a train heading to Lejre Station. The entire journey typically takes around 45–50 minutes. From Lejre Station, the trailhead is accessible by a 15–20 minute walk through the town, following signs towards Skjoldungestien. Train tickets cost approximately 50–85 DKK.
Driving
Driving from Køge to Lejre takes approximately 35–40 minutes. Parking is available at Lejre Museum, located near the trailhead. The museum offers maps and information about the area. Parking is free of charge.
