Car from Skærbæk (mainland)
Drive south from Skærbæk toward the Rømø causeway, a 10-kilometer toll road connecting the mainland to the island. The toll is approximately 70 DKK per vehicle (payable at toll booths or via prepaid card). Once on Rømø, follow signs toward Havneby in the north; the drive from the causeway to Havneby Kro takes approximately 15–20 minutes. Parking is available at the restaurant.
Bus from Tønder or Skærbæk
Regional bus services connect Tønder and Skærbæk to Rømø, with routes serving Havneby village. Journey time from Tønder is approximately 45–60 minutes depending on connections. Bicycle from Rømø villages
