MEGA GRILL
MEGA GRILL, Rømø
Panoramic golf-course views, generous brunches and flexible gourmet dining inside Enjoy Resorts Rømø, with terrace seating and on-site leisure activities next door.
Set on the southern edge of Rømø with sweeping views across Enjoy Resorts’ manicured golf course, Restaurant Diget pairs relaxed Danish coastal charm with a semi‑formal dining room and broad menu. Guests come for brunch buffets on selected Sundays, multi‑course gourmet dinners or classic à la carte dishes, often followed by a drink on the large terrace deck as the evening light drifts over the fairways. Sharing a building with the resort’s spa, bowling and pool facilities, it works equally well for couples, families and bigger celebrations.
Opening times, essentials, and a few local tips gathered into one calmer, easier-to-scan planning section.
Car from central Rømø (Rømø Kirkeby)
Driving from the central Rømø Kirkeby area to Restaurant Diget typically takes 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic along the island’s main road. The route follows paved roads across relatively flat terrain and is straightforward in all seasons. Parking is available at the Enjoy Resorts complex that houses the restaurant, but spaces can be busier in summer holidays and on weekend evenings. There is no separate fee for short-term parking beyond any general resort policies, so private car remains the most convenient option for most visitors.
Car from Skærbæk on the mainland
From Skærbæk, allow around 30–35 minutes by car to reach Restaurant Diget, including the drive across the Rømø causeway. The road is well maintained and open year-round, but strong coastal winds and occasional sea mist can reduce visibility, so extra caution is sensible in poor weather. There are no tolls on the causeway. Parking is at the resort complex by the restaurant and is usually free for restaurant guests, though it can fill up at peak summer times, so arriving slightly early is wise.
Regional bus plus short walk
Regional buses connect Skærbæk with Rømø, typically taking about 35–45 minutes to reach the Havneby area on the island. Services generally run several times per day but are less frequent in the evening and outside the summer season, so checking the latest timetable before travel is essential. From the nearest bus stop in Havneby, expect a walk of roughly 15–25 minutes over flat pavements and resort paths to the restaurant building. There is no additional local shuttle, so this option suits travellers comfortable with a modest walk to their meal.
