Parking is limited near the base of the trail; arrive early. A taxi from Ali Sabieh to the base of the trail will cost approximately 1500-2000 DJF.

If you are in the vicinity of Ali Sabieh, you can walk towards RN5 (Route Nationale 5). Once you reach RN5, walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for local landmarks such as the town's mosque and school to confirm you're on the right path. Continue until you see a dirt track leading upwards on your left after 1.5 kilometers. This is the path towards Buurta Calanka. Ensure you have adequate sun protection and water for the walk.
