Ali Sabieh Mountain, also known as Buurta Astaanta Qaranka (Mountain of the National Emblem), stands as a significant landmark near the city of Ali Sabieh in southeastern Djibouti. Following Djibouti's independence in 1977, the Cross was replaced with the national emblem of Djibouti, marking a shift in the mountain's symbolic representation. In 2024, the design was updated to include two large flags of Djibouti on either side of the emblem. Overlooking the city, Ali Sabieh Mountain provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
