Getting There

Walking
Start at the Central Market in Djibouti City, which is a central hub. From there, head south on Boulevard de la République toward Avenue de la République. Continue walking straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and continue for approximately 800 meters. You will notice landmarks such as the Djibouti Cathedral on your right as you approach Avenue Moussa Tavele. At the intersection, turn right onto Avenue Moussa Tavele and walk straight until you reach the junction with Rue des Pêcheurs. Turn left onto Rue des Pêcheurs and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will find Mt. Olympus located at G5R6+PW2, Djibouti, on your left.

From the Central Market, look for a local bus or minibus heading towards Balbala. These can often be found along Boulevard de la République.
