Dominica Boiling Lake Expedition

Spectacular hike.

I had a wonderful day on my 68th birthday going to Boiling Lake. "It's the journey not the destination" holds true on this hike although both were spectacular. My guide Kelly's Davis made it fun and interesting.

Otherworldly Experience

We had booked with another company but due to unforseen circumstances we're unable to accommodate our tours. They contacted Dylan and he was willing to work with us. From the moment he arrived and we started on our tours Dylan blew us away with all of his knowledge of the island, it's history, agriculture, flora, geography, and culture. He provided encouragement for the difficult hikes and always stopped and checked in to see how we were feeling. He captured amazing photos and video of us that he shared with us so we could have pictures and video of us together enjoying the experiences. Dylan is a true healer and had an oil that cured bug bites in record time and eased knee pain (he makes this magic oil). When we spoke about our days with Dylan with the other hotel guest they were so jealous of the quality of our tours and full immersion we had with him as our guide. We left Dominica with experiences that most tourists never get and its because of Dylan. We could have never dreamed of how amazing our time would be but we're grateful for Dylan and feel like we left with a forever friend. Dylan truly shines, his positivity, customer service, compassion, and knowledge! Dominica is an incredible island not only because of it's raw beauty but because of people like Dylan. Book your tour with Dylan and Let's Hike Dominica and you will have a marvelous experience.

Four-Hour Fishing Tour in Dominica

Fantastic Deep Sea Fishing Adventure in Dominica!

We had an incredible 4-hour deep sea fishing tour departing from the Roseau ferry dock in Dominica. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and unforgettable. The two-man crew was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. They made us feel welcome and confident throughout the trip, whether it was helping with the gear, sharing insights about local waters, or handling the catches with skill and care. We were lucky with the weather—clear skies and calm seas set the perfect stage for the day. The boat was the ideal size for the two of us, offering both comfort and a sense of adventure without being overcrowded. Cold drinks were readily available, which was a nice touch under the Caribbean sun. We ended up catching both barracuda and mahi mahi, and the crew cleaned and prepared the fish expertly—fileting the mahi and cutting the barracuda to fit in the carrier bags. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just looking for a fun way to experience Dominica from the water, this trip is highly recommended. A memorable day with great people, amazing scenery, and fresh fish to top it all off!
