From the center of La Plaine, head east on the main road (Route 9). Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a left turn onto the Emerald Pool Trail road. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you see the sign for the Emerald Pool entrance on your right. The trailhead is well-marked and easy to find.

If you are already in the vicinity of the surrounding hills, you can hike towards the Emerald Pool. Start from the nearest trail that leads downhill toward the main road (Route 9). Once you reach Route 9, turn left and follow the road for about 1 kilometer until you find the Emerald Pool Trail entrance. The trailhead is clearly marked.
