The Great Old House is located on Castle Street in Roseau, easily accessible on foot from most central locations. From the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth or the Dominica Museum, walk south along the Dame Mary Eugenia Charles Boulevard, then turn left onto Castle Street. The restaurant is a short walk down the street. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes from the main areas of Roseau. Be mindful of traffic as you walk along the streets.

Roseau is served by a network of private minibuses that connect the city to various parts of Dominica. Several bus stops are located near The Great Old House, including the Roseau Bus Station on River Bank and the Grand Bay Bus Station on Hanover St. Bus fares within Roseau are standardized and relatively inexpensive. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to Castle Street. Keep in mind that minibus services generally operate from early morning until around 6:00 PM.
