From the center of Mahaut, head east towards the main road (Route 5). Continue along Route 5 until you reach the junction with the road to the Emerald Pool Trail. This should take about 20 minutes on foot. Look for signs indicating 'Emerald Pool'. Once you reach the junction, follow the signs leading to the trail entrance, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the main road. The trail entrance will be clearly marked.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Mahaut, walk to the nearby bus stop located on the main road (Route 5). Look for a bus heading towards 'Salisbury' or 'Morne Trois Pitons National Park'. These buses frequently run, and the journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop for the Emerald Pool Trail, disembark and follow the signs to the trail entrance, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can hike from Mahaut to the Emerald Pool Trail. Start by taking the path that leads you towards the interior of the island. Follow local trails that generally lead in the direction of the Morne Trois Pitons National Park. This route may take longer and is recommended only for those who are experienced hikers.
