Getting There

  • Car

    From Mero Beach, head southeast on Mero Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the main road (Route 1). Turn left onto Route 1 and continue for about 7 kilometers. You will pass through the village of Portsmouth. Look for signs directing you to Marigot. After about 10 minutes, you will see signs for the Northern Forest Reserve. Turn right onto the access road leading to the reserve, where you can find parking available.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Northern Forest Reserve from Mero Beach using public transportation, you can take a minibus from Mero Beach to Roseau (the capital). The fare is usually around 2-3 Eastern Caribbean Dollars (ECD). Once in Roseau, transfer to a minibus heading towards Marigot. The fare for this leg is also approximately 2-3 ECD. Inform the driver that you are going to the Northern Forest Reserve, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of the reserve.
