Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Roseau, head southeast towards the waterfront. Walk along the Bayfront (the main road by the sea) until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Botanical Gardens. Turn left onto the road towards the Botanical Gardens. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes, following the signs for the Emerald Pool Trail. You will pass the entrance to the Botanical Gardens, and shortly after, you will see a sign for the Emerald Pool Trail. The trailhead is located just off the main road.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local taxi from any point in Roseau. Head to the main taxi stand located near the Roseau Market. Inform the driver that you would like to go to the Emerald Pool Trail. The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes. The driver will drop you off at the trailhead entrance.

  • Public Transport

    You can also take a minibus from Roseau to the Emerald Pool. Head to the minibus terminal located near the Roseau Market. Look for a minibus that has 'Emerald Pool' or 'Trafalgar Falls' written on it. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to let the driver know that you want to stop at the Emerald Pool Trail. The minibus will drop you off right near the entrance to the trail.
