Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mahaut, head towards the main road leading out of the village. Walk towards the southwest direction along the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and the Mahaut Community Center on your right. Continue until you reach the junction with the main road heading towards the Roseau Valley. At the junction, turn left and follow the road for about 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the Valley of Desolation, which will be on your right.

    From Mahaut, locate the bus stop near the main road. Take a bus heading towards Roseau, ensuring you inform the driver that you are going to the Valley of Desolation. The bus ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the stop closest to Valley of Desolation, disembark and walk approximately 300 meters down the path that leads directly to the site.
