From the center of Saint Peter, head north on the main road (Route 1) towards Portsmouth. Continue driving for approximately 15 minutes. You will pass through the towns of Calibishie and then into Portsmouth. Look for signs directing you to Fort Shirley as you approach Portsmouth. The fort is located at the address HGMG+7HV, Portsmouth. There is parking available near the entrance.

To reach Fort Shirley by public transport, take a minibus heading towards Portsmouth from the main bus station in Saint Peter. The fare is around 3-5 Eastern Caribbean Dollars. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Fort Shirley or at a nearby landmark. From the drop-off point, it’s a short walk to the entrance of the fort.
