Walking
From the center of Soufrière, head towards the waterfront and follow the main road (Bay Street) south until you reach the junction with the road leading to the Soufrière Estate. Turn left onto this road and continue walking. You will pass the Soufrière Fish Market on your left. Keep walking until you reach the foot of Mt. Fortune, where you will see signs indicating the trailhead. The hike to the peak will take you approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

Consider joining a guided tour that departs from Soufrière. These tours usually start at the main square or popular hotels in the area. Check with your hotel for tour operators that organize hikes to Mt. Fortune. The guides will provide you with transportation to the base of the mountain and will take care of all the navigation.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Soufrière. Start from the main square and head south on Bay Street. After a short ride, turn left onto the road leading to the Soufrière Estate. Follow this road until you reach the trailhead of Mt. Fortune. Parking your bicycle is safe at the trailhead while you hike to the peak.
