Follow this road, which may be unpaved in sections, carefully until you reach the mine. The drive is approximately 10 kilometers from Barahona. Parking is available near the mine entrance.

From Barahona, take a public bus or minibus (guagua) heading towards La Ciénaga. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to Mina de Larimar. From there, you may need to walk or hire a local taxi (moto-taxi) to reach the mine, as it's a few kilometers from the main road. Negotiate the fare beforehand. The bus fare is typically around 50-100 DOP. Moto-taxi fare could be around 200-300 DOP.
