Car
If you're driving from Santiago de los Caballeros, take the Autopista Duarte toward Puerto Plata. After about 1.5 hours, take the exit toward Av. Manolo Tavarez Justo in Puerto Plata. Continue on Av. Manolo Tavarez Justo for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the Teleférico de Puerto Plata, which is the cable car station that takes you to Pico Isabel de Torres. Parking is available near the station, and the cable car ticket costs around 10 USD per person for a round trip.
Public Transportation
To reach Pico Isabel de Torres using public transportation, you can take a bus from Santiago de los Caballeros to Puerto Plata. The bus ride takes about 2 hours and costs around 5-10 USD. Upon arriving in Puerto Plata, you can take a taxi or a local motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) to the Teleférico de Puerto Plata station on Av.
