Car
From Central Mountain Range, head southwest on the main road until you reach the junction on Highway 2 (Carretera Duarte). Follow signs for Santo Domingo/Punta Cana. Merge onto Autopista Juan Pablo II (also known as Autopista del Coral) and continue for approximately 1 hour until you reach Punta Cana. Take the exit toward Boulevard Zona Hotelera. Follow Boulevard Zona Hotelera for about 5 minutes, and you will see Sanctuary Cap Cana on your left at Boulevard Zona Hotelera, Punta Cana 23302.
Public Transportation
From any point in Central Mountain Range, take a local bus (carro público) to Santo Domingo. Once in Santo Domingo, transfer to a bus service that travels to Punta Cana. Companies like Caribe Tours and Metro offer comfortable services. The journey from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. After arriving at the Punta Cana bus terminal, you can take a taxi to Sanctuary Cap Cana, which is roughly a 15-minute drive. Expect to pay around $10-$15 for the taxi fare depending on your negotiation skills.
