Getting There

Car
From Constanza, head northwest on Carretera Constanza-Aguacate (DR-4). Continue on this road for about 16 kilometers until you encounter a fork. At the fork, keep left to stay on DR-4. After about 5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Valle Nuevo National Park. Turn left onto the road leading to the park entrance. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the park.

Public Transportation
In Constanza, look for a local bus (carro público) heading towards La Vega. These buses typically depart from the main square in Constanza. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Valle Nuevo. The bus will take you to the closest point to the park entrance. From there, you may need to take a motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) or hike the remaining distance to the park entrance, which is about 5 kilometers away. Make sure to confirm the fare with the motoconcho driver before you start your ride.

Taxi
You can also hire a taxi from Constanza to Valle Nuevo National Park. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will follow the same route as if you were driving yourself. This option is more comfortable and faster, but it will be more expensive compared to public transportation. Expect to pay around 2000 to 3000 Dominican Pesos for a round trip.
