If you're driving, head towards the Zona Colonial area of Santo Domingo. From any point in Eastern Plains, take the main road (Carretera Mella) towards Santo Domingo. Once you enter the city, follow signs for Zona Colonial. When you reach the entrance of the historic district, look for Avenida George Washington and turn right. Continue straight, then turn left onto Calle Isabel La Católica. The Catedral Primera de las Américas will be on your right at F4F8+698, C. Isabel La Católica. Parking may be available in nearby lots or on the street.

For public transportation, catch a bus or a guagua (shared taxi) heading to Santo Domingo. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Zona Colonial. Once you arrive in the Zona Colonial area, you can ask locals for directions to Calle Isabel La Católica. It's a short walk from the main plaza. Head north on Calle Las Damas, then turn left onto Calle Isabel La Católica, and you will find the Catedral Primera de las Américas at F4F8+698.
