    If you're traveling by car, start from Higüey city center. Head south on Av. Juan Pablo II towards Calle 12 de Julio. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 km. Follow the signs towards the Autopista del Este (the main highway). Merge onto Autopista del Este and drive for about 9 km. Take the exit towards La Altagracia and continue on the local road for another 5 km until you see the signs for Monkeyland. The entrance is located on your right.

    Public Transportation

    For those opting for public transportation, head to the main bus station in Higüey. Look for a bus or guagua (shared taxi) heading towards La Altagracia. The fare is typically around 50-100 Dominican Pesos. Inform the driver that you want to visit Monkeyland; they will drop you off at the closest stop. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to the entrance of Monkeyland, following the directional signs.
