Public Bus
From Jarabacoa, walk to the main bus terminal located near the center of town. Look for a bus that goes to La Vega (these buses are frequent). Once you arrive in La Vega, you will need to transfer to another bus or a 'carro publico' (shared taxi) that heads towards Concepción de La Vega. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Parque Nacional Valle Nuevo. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the park. The entire journey should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on waiting times.

Carro Publico (Shared Taxi)
Begin at the main square in Jarabacoa and look for a 'carro publico' heading towards La Vega. Once you reach La Vega, you can take another 'carro publico' that goes directly to Parque Nacional Valle Nuevo. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to the park. The total time for this journey will be similar, around 1.5 to 2 hours, and it may be slightly faster than the bus option.
