If you are driving from the center of Las Terrenas, head southeast on Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte towards Calle 27 de Febrero. Continue straight onto Calle El Carmen. After about 2.5 km, turn right onto the road leading to El Limón. Follow the signs to Playa Las Canas. The beach is located at the coordinates 19.310795, -69.395034. Parking is usually available nearby, but you may need to pay a small fee depending on the season.

To reach Playa Las Canas using public transportation, you can take a 'carro publico' (shared taxi) from the main taxi stand in Las Terrenas. Look for a vehicle heading towards El Limón. The ride should cost around 50-100 Dominican Pesos (DRD) per person. Inform the driver that you want to go to Playa Las Canas. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in El Limón, you may need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach the beach.
