Car
If you are traveling by car from Los Haitises to Baiguate Waterfall, start by heading south on the main road (Carretera San Francisco - Jarabacoa) towards Jarabacoa. The drive is approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Jarabacoa, look for signs indicating the direction to the waterfall. You will need to take the road towards C. Baiguate. Make sure to have GPS navigation or a map app handy, as local signage may not always be clear. Upon reaching C. Baiguate, you will find a parking area nearby the entrance to the waterfall.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Los Haitises to Jarabacoa. Buses depart frequently from the main terminal in Los Haitises. When you arrive in Jarabacoa, you will need to take a local motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) to reach Baiguate Waterfall. Inform the driver that you are going to the waterfall, and they will take you directly to the entrance. This leg of the journey will take about 20-30 minutes. Expect to pay around 150-200 DOP for the motoconcho ride. Ensure to confirm the cost with the driver before starting your journey.
