Getting There
Walking
From the center of Puerto Plata, head towards the main street (Calle 12 de Julio). Walk east until you reach the intersection with Av. Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó. Turn left onto Av. Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó and continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach the beach area. Once you reach the beach, turn right and walk along the coast for approximately 10 minutes. You will see signs directing you to Sosúa, leading you to C. La Puntilla. Continue walking until you reach Dive Cabarete located on C. La Puntilla, Sosúa 57000.
Bus
From the main bus station in Puerto Plata (Terminal de Caribe tours), take a bus heading towards Sosúa. The fare is usually around 50 pesos. Inform the driver that you are going to Sosúa, and they will drop you off at the main bus stop in Sosúa. From there, walk towards the beach. Head south on C. Pedro Clisante, then turn left onto C. La Puntilla. Dive Cabarete will be on your right side, just a short walk from the beach.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Puerto Plata to Dive Cabarete. Simply tell the taxi driver 'C. La Puntilla in Sosúa'. The ride should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost around 800 to 1200 pesos. The driver will drop you off directly at the location.
