Puerto Plata Historic Town & Countryside - Amber Cove & Taino Bay

Great experience with great tour guide

We went with Winston and Luis on the Puerto Plata's Historic Town & Dominican Countryside Culture from Amber Cove tour. It was absolutely amazing. Luis was an exceptional driver and kept us extremely safe during the entire tour. Winston was absolutely an amazing tour guide. His attention to detail that he told us was amazing. I learned so much about the Dominican Republic that I had no idea about. And being able to see the mix of local city culture and the difference in the countryside way of life was an incredible contrast. We stopped and ate at a fruit stand and got to experience local fruit. We then got to experience a countryside market and shop like the locals. The whole experience was amazing from top to bottom and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is a great excursion if you are looking for something other than a beach and you want to learn about local culture and history. This is for you!!!

Very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Antonio, our guide, who helped us during our confusion and taking good care of us. The monkey experience was awesome and the buggies thrilling. Would recommend. Thr staff at both locations were amazing as well.
