Walking
If you are starting from the center of Puerto Plata, head east on Avenida 27 de Febrero towards Avenida Gregorio Luperón. After approximately 1 km, turn right onto Avenida Gregorio Luperón. Continue walking for about 500 meters, and you will see the Harbor Lighthouse on your left. The lighthouse is located near the waterfront, providing stunning views of the harbor.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the main bus terminal in Puerto Plata (Terminal de Autobuses), take a local bus that heads towards the waterfront or Playa Dorada. Inform the driver that you are going to the Harbor Lighthouse. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop near Avenida Gregorio Luperón. Walk east along Avenida Gregorio Luperón for about 500 meters, and you will find the Harbor Lighthouse on your left.
Taxi
Find a local taxi service or use a ride-hailing app if available. Request a ride to 'Harbor Lighthouse' or 'Faro de Puerto Plata' and provide the address: Av. Gral. Gregorio Luperón, Puerto Plata. The drive should take around 10 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the lighthouse.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Puerto Plata. Start cycling east on Avenida 27 de Febrero, then turn right onto Avenida Gregorio Luperón. Continue cycling for about 1.5 km along the waterfront, and you will arrive at Harbor Lighthouse. There are bike racks available for parking near the lighthouse.
