If you are driving from the town of Samaná, take the Route 5 road (Carretera Samaná) heading towards Las Terrenas. Follow the signs for Las Terrenas, which will lead you through beautiful countryside. The drive takes approximately 30-40 minutes. As you approach, you will notice signs for Punta Popy and Playa Las Terrenas. Continue straight until you reach the junction of Avenida Italia, where you will turn left. Follow this road until you see signs for Las Terrenas Beach and the parking areas available.

From Samaná, you can take a public car (guagua) to Las Terrenas. Head to the main bus terminal in Samaná, located near the waterfront. Look for a guagua marked for Las Terrenas.
