Walking
If you are starting from the center of Samana, head towards the Malecon (the waterfront promenade). You can follow Avenida la Marina to reach the Malecon. Once you are at the Malecon, walk east along the waterfront until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the exit towards 'Capitan' (follow signs if available). Continue walking along the road until you reach a fork. Keep to the right, continuing towards the address '2P8Q+94C, DM Elupina Coordero, Capitan'. You'll see the Las Cañitas tourist pier ahead.

Public Transport
From the main bus terminal in Samana, look for a local guagua (minibus) heading towards Capitan. The fare is usually very affordable. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at 'Capitan'. Once you arrive in Capitan, walk towards the waterfront and follow the directions above to reach the Las Cañitas tourist pier. It’s a short walk from where the guagua drops you off.
