Car
From the Cibao Valley, take the DR-1 highway heading south towards Santo Domingo. Continue on DR-1 for about 90 kilometers (56 miles). Take the exit toward DR-7, following signs for Samaná. After about 30 kilometers (18.6 miles), you will reach the town of Sabana de la Mar. From there, follow signs to Los Haitises National Park, which is approximately 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) from Sabana de la Mar. Be prepared for some unpaved roads closer to the park.

If you prefer public transport, you can take a bus from Santiago (Cibao Valley) to Santo Domingo. In Santo Domingo, transfer to a bus heading to Sabana de la Mar. The bus ride will take about 3-4 hours. From Sabana de la Mar, take a local taxi or a moto-taxi to reach the entrance of Los Haitises National Park. It's recommended to negotiate the fare beforehand, which typically ranges from 200 to 400 Dominican Pesos ($4 to $8).
