From the Cibao Valley, take the DR-1 highway heading south towards Santo Domingo. Continue on DR-1 for about 90 kilometers (56 miles). Take the exit toward DR-7, following signs for Samaná. After about 30 kilometers (18.6 miles), you will reach the town of Sabana de la Mar. From there, follow signs to Los Haitises National Park, which is approximately 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) from Sabana de la Mar. Be prepared for some unpaved roads closer to the park.
