Car
From central Samaná, head southwest on Avenida de la Marina towards Calle Juan Pablo Duarte. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Juan de la Torre. Turn left onto Avenida Juan de la Torre and follow it for about 7 km. You will see signs for Loma del Chivo. The road will become more rugged as you approach the mountain. There is no formal parking, so you may need to park along the roadside.

Take a local guagua (minibus) from the main bus terminal in Samaná. Look for a guagua heading towards Las Galeras, as they often pass near Loma del Chivo. The fare is typically around 50-100 DOP. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Loma del Chivo area. Once you get off, you may need to walk a bit to reach the trailhead. Be prepared for a short hike to the peak.
