From the center of Gurabo, head south on Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Calle 16 de Agosto. Turn left onto Calle 16 de Agosto and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. You will see signs for Río Gurabo. The river is located just a short walk from this intersection.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) from any point in Gurabo. Simply flag down a motoconcho and tell the driver 'Río Gurabo' or 'Calle 16 de Agosto.' The fare is generally around 50-100 Dominican Pesos, depending on your starting point. The motoconcho will take you directly to the vicinity of the river, where you can then walk the final few meters.
