Excursion to Samaná and Cayo Levantado from Punta Cana

Whale Watching Tour in Samana Bay from Las Terrenas

Incredible Bucket List Tick!!!

We LOVED it!!! I’ve wanted to see humpback whales since forever and it really didn’t disappoint. The mother and baby came right up to the boat, and baby rolled around and waved at us! Couple of things to be aware of - there was a 45 ish min drive each way to Samana before the boat which we didn’t realise. It was also a full day we were out. We were on the lunch/beach stop from 11.30am to 3.30pm after the whale boat. We really enjoyed it so it didn’t bother us but would have been nice to know before I guess.
