Samana Whale Watching Adventure from Punta Cana

Good but long day, beautiful sights.

Long bus ride and boat ride. Be prepared if you suffer from any kind of motion sickness. Transportation ran late for our pick up and we had to use WhatsApp to get a few things worked out, also recommend to pay for a travel package for your cell phone so you can use Google translate or another app while on the excursion. Swim time at the water fall and at the beach were both fairly short so if you want to swim I recommend wearing your bathing suit to cut down on changing time. Time watching whales is limited to 30 minutes but we were lucky enough to see a mom and baby. Our guide and drivers, both coach and boat were all amazing and professional. Be prepared to be tired as the walk down to the waterfall is not bad but the climb up can really knock you on your butt and it is really an all day adventure (7am-7pm). Overall a really good trip and because of the distance you have to travel from most resorts you get to see the real Dominican Republic as you drive.

Samana Whale Watching + Cayo Levantado + Limon Waterfalls from Punta Cana Hotels

Great trip

Super Organized Super Guides Whales were fascinating Island fantastic Ride by truck to the waterfall very interesting , The way on foot or by horse very arduous ; paths muddy u slippery

Samaná Whale Watching + Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island).

To do but be careful of the organization

Great experience. View of beautiful whales and island. Undoubtedly a way out. Only downside for us, our guide abandoned us on the island all day to leave with the other half of the group that was continuing the tour until the waterfall after Samana. We ate last after 13:30 and there was nothing left! Finally the boat back scheduled between 5pm and 5.30pm arrived at 6pm, not cool for those who return by car afterwards. In summary to do but very bad organization...
