    If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Barahona. From the center of Barahona, take the Carretera Barahona - Enriquillo (DR-44) heading northwest. Continue on this road for about 25 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Carretera a Bahoruco (DR-1). Turn right onto DR-1 and follow the signs towards Sierra de Bahoruco. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will see a sign for Cabeza del Rio Biran. Turn left onto the unpaved road that leads directly to the site. Please note that the last part of the journey may require a 4x4 vehicle due to uneven terrain. Ensure to have cash on hand for any tolls or parking fees that may apply.

    For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Santo Domingo to Barahona. Buses leave regularly from the Santo Domingo bus terminal and the journey takes around 3-4 hours.
