• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Carretera del Sur, which is the main road in the Barahona region. From the center of Barahona, take Avenida 27 de Febrero and follow the signs for Carretera del Sur. Continue on this road for approximately 19 kilometers. You will pass through small towns and beautiful landscapes. Casa del Mar Lodge is located at Carretera del Sur Km 19, in Quita Coraza, which will be on your right. Look for the lodge's sign; it's a popular spot, so it shouldn't be hard to find.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach Casa del Mar Lodge using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Barahona to the Quita Coraza area. Buses frequently depart from the main bus terminal in Barahona. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop near Carretera del Sur Km 19. The fare for the bus ride is typically around 50-100 Dominican Pesos (approximately $1-$2 USD). Once you get off, you can either walk to the lodge or take a taxi if you have luggage. The lodge is about a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop.
